Our annual summer music camp traditionally takes place the third full week of August for about 150 youth ages 6 & up! Each participant can choose to take two of the following workshops: Inuit drum dancing, Throat Singing, Accordion, Fiddle, Guitar, Percussion, Xylophone, Bucket Drumming, Ukelele, Recorder, Songs & Games, Choir, or Step Dance.
Each day youth will receive two hours of instruction in each workshop choice, opportunities to hear professional musicians, and participate in supervised recreation breaks.
The camp culminates with a Celebration Concert on the final evening to showcase the amazing musicianship of our participants. Many parents and community members are amazed at how much the youth can learn in one week.
