With over 25 years of building willow furniture, Andrew Kent brings participants the opportunity to handcraft their own willow furniture. No experience is necessary as you will receive step-by-step guidance from design, building and fine tuning your own willow club chair or loveseat.

All tools and materials are provided.
Please note: you will be on your feet for much of the day, wear comfortable shoes.

Please bring: water bottle and bagged lunch and wear clothes you can easily move in.

Plein Air Outing at Quinceotica Farms

Enjoy a plein air experience amongst the quince trees in bloom at Quinceotica Farm in Yellow Point. This is a wonderful opportunity to leave your worries behind and spend the day outdoors. Meander, write, sketch, paint and/or meditate while seeking and celebrating inspiration in this relaxed country setting. End the session with refreshments and to option to share your work with the other participants.

Led by poet, painter and farmer John Edwards and artist/educator/curator Leona Petrak.

Guided tour of the grounds will be provided.

Acrylic Painting For Beginners

Well look no further that our *NEW 5 week beginner level acrylic painting series with award winning acrylic artist and instructor Jennifer O'Brien. Participants will work through a series of exercises and small paintings.

Participants will learn:
- Colour theory (blending, layering etc)
-The best tools to use to get the look your going for
-Composition on a canvas
-Different painting techniques

Music Monday

Music Monday is a celebration of the impact of music education in our schools and in our communities.   On Monday May 1st, we will join together to celebrate music education by singing our Song of Celebration together at 12:30 pm ET.  Registration is free and will give you access to all the resources you need to teach the song to your class or learn at home.  There are numerous audio recordings, arrangements, lyric sheets, sing-a-long videos and a Learning Guide.  
 

LFM Winter Sky - Online Music Workshops
