Mural Routes and Feed Scarborough have partnered to deliver The Golden Mile Food Equity Community Project, a City of Toronto Cultural Hotspot Signature Project. Through a holistic approach to community-building, local artists and community members will facilitate four workshops where participants will learn, create, eat, and grow together.

Introduction to Resin Art

Join an in-person workshop that combines old and new techniques to create handmade mixed media art. You'll learn how to lay down images, apply spray paint, incorporate different materials, and learn not to be afraid of a torch.

Recipient of the Artist-Educator Award from the Ontario Arts Foundation in 2018, the artist Yao offers a webinar on the importance of the artist-educator (his role, his raison d’être) which provides the necessary elements to structure an effective artistic workshop for the school environment.

Learn how to draw and design characters, as well as write a background for that character! From colours, shapes, faces to much more! Learn to personify your feelings and fears into characters as well.
