Innovative 8-week Self-Portrait Puppet for Youth!

VIEW from the Inside is an award-winning program with the goal to empower youth, help to reduce the stigma of mental health issues, and build a sense of community in life’s challenges.

Within the carefully curated safety of the group, led by our accredited art therapists and teachers, mainstream, BIPOC, special needs and/or LGBTQ2S+ students benefit from creative arts therapies. Research shows these kinds of experiences can help to reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem and quality of life.

From October 27 until November 4, we're pleased to offer your students or your child's class an engaging and affordable virtual arts experience featuring our acclaimed production Old Man and the River. 

In a forest where rivers sing, trees giggle, and curious dragonflies come to visit, a grumpy little man lives all alone in his little house. Every day is exactly the same and he likes it that way. But one day...a magical creature leaps into his life and everything changes!

Registration for Tarragon's Playwriting and Dramaturgy Course with Brian Quirt is now open! AboutThis online course is an exploration of playwriting and play development practice and its relationship to dramaturgy. The work will include: in-class writing exercises; practical discussions on working with playwrights, dramaturgs and directors; and expectations for playwrights in a workshop environment.

In our RMG studio, kids will kick colours up a notch while experimenting with a variety of fine art materials and methods. Your children will be inspired by fun and interactive tours of our fantastic exhibitions. They will create personal, stunning mixed media artworks with our exceptional instructor.

Spaces are limited. Masks will be required for all participants.

Ages 8-13

Tuesdays, September 21- October 26 (6 sessions) from 10am to 11:30am

Welcome back! Join us for this loved and popular class which is truly inspired by our exhibitions and personal reflections. We foster a multi-dimensional approach that encourages individuality and imaginative problem-solving skills using quality fine art materials.

Have an idea for a great community program? Don’t know how to translate your idea into an actual program structure? Want to learn what goes into developing a program that will really serve the community?

Ring in the holiday season with a family-friendly fun, creative and interactive art session at the gallery! Come and decorate clay ornaments using paint, printmaking and collage. Each person will receive two clay ornaments to decorate and will have time to play and explore different techniques to create their own one-of-a-kind piece of art.

This little adventure is perfect for all ages, and participants under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult participant.
