Spectrum Productions is a charitable arts organization based in Montreal, Quebec committed to advancing the social, cultural and economic inclusion of individuals on the autism spectrum by supporting and promoting autistic creative talent in film and media production and the arts.

We offer a variety of year-round programs and opportunities, both in-studio and online, that focus on creating a sense of belonging and self-confidence, building community and providing access to artistic practice, education and employment opportunities in film and media production

We celebrate and share the creative, experimental and technical talents of autistic artists and film makers through our public events like Spectrum Fest and our Annual Gala and Screening.

    Our year-round programs and clubs are are open to all autistic and neurodiverse artists that have a passion for media production, are motivated to learn and develop film-making skills and want to meet new people in an inclusive and supportive environment. Some of our clubs and classes include Saturday Morning Cartoons, Production Club, Girls Club and Social Club.

  • Camps

    Our summer film camp program gives young filmmakers hands-on experience in all aspects of filmmaking including scriptwriting, storyboarding, directing, acting, post-production editing and everything in between. These fun camps are a great way to make friends, learn new skills, and share creative ideas. Films created during summer camp are played on the big screen either at our Annual Gala and Screening event, or Spectrum Fest - our very own Autistic Film Festival!

  • Workshops

    We offer workshops and other learning and skills-development opportunities through our Creative Media Lab - a weekly career exploration program for young adults. This program prepares participants for careers by teaching media production skills in areas like videography, video editing, sound recording and design, camera operation and 2D and stop-motion animation.
