For over 30 years, Common Ground has been invested in developing technologies that seek to break down barriers of access in scholarly communication. In each phase, we’ve built media platforms to support spaces for interdisciplinary dialogue, before such approaches were in vogue; connected international voices, when disciplines were too often isolated in national silos; and supported an agenda of access and equality, by offering pathways and opportunities for diverse voices.

We’re accepting applications for the Suncor Indigenous Artist Program! Much like the Artist in Residency program, the Suncor Indigenous Artist Program follows the traditional residency model and is based on the idea of making art and engaging with the community through art.
This program supports one Indigenous artist within ACWB’s Artist in Residency and will run for three to four weeks between September and December, 2021.
Indigenous artists from across Wood Buffalo and Canada are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
We’re accepting applications for the Suncor Indigenous Artist Program until June 30, 2021 @ 12 p.m. (Noon). This residency will run for 3 to 4 weeks between September and December 2021.

What would an Arts Impact Community look like? What would it need to gain buy-in and be shaped by its users, to be an equitable learning resource and system of support, to have a culture of open-ness, to be innovative, exploratory, and scalable?
This conference is a catalyst for Building an Arts Impact Community.
