Our theme “CREATIVE SYNERGY” focuses on innovative partnerships, contemporary arts practice and the celebration of authentic voices & diverse perspectives. This event provides professional development opportunities for visual arts education professionals including: classroom teachers, museum educators, administrators, college and university professors, researchers, students of art education, teaching artists and more!
The Teacher Education Office in the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia is proud to host the 32nd annual WestCAST conference. We would like to extend an open invitation to everyone involved in teacher education, throughout the western provinces and elsewhere, to this exciting event.
In cities around the world, the creative arts and interactive digital media sectors are bringing their respective skills together to imagine and create exciting new events, art and products – merging digital technologies with artistic practice. In Manitoba, we’re ready to showcase what our vibrant arts community and interactive digital media sector can do together.

An advanced professional development (APD) workshop focusing on energy management for museums and other heritage facilities has been scheduled to take place from November 18 to November 21, 2019, at the Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) in Ottawa.
