Winnipeg Studio Theatre's Summer StudioWorks is a musical theatre program offering training in "triple threat" technique: acting, singing and dance to students ages 10 and up. Since its inception in 2004, Director Brenda Gorlick has amassed the finest roster of Manitoban musical theatre specialists. Program offerings include: vocal masterclasses, dance technique, mock auditions, original and show choreography, singing and songwriting, scene work, playwrighting, improvisation, voiceover technique, cabaret work, music interpretation, and more. The program also offers audio and video recording opportunities on location and/or in studio. The weeklong program runs from 9:00 - 5:00 pm daily culminating with a final showcase presentation. We welcome students from across Canada to attend.
