City of Toronto Indigenous Arts & Culture Partnerships Fund

The Indigenous Arts and Culture Partnerships Fund supports partnerships and collaborations that create new opportunities and visibility for Indigenous-led arts and culture. The fund aims to spark new relationships between Indigenous artists, arts and culture leaders and professionals, and potential partners at both the grassroots and institutional levels.

At a time when we're all being asked to Stay Home, I'm sending good vibes in the form of music activities for you and the people you are staying home with. Whether you are looking to have some fun or need activities for your kids, I've compiled these links for you. Most of these activities refer to groups of people, but the activities work equally as well with 2-5 people, roughly the number of people in one household. Adapt by reducing the number of parts, and putting one person to a part.

FUTURES/forward is a National Mentorship Program in Community-Engaged Arts for Social Change (ASC) in Association with Environmental Organizations Across Canada!

Prologue Arts Champion Awards

In 2016, Prologue Performing Arts launched the Arts Champion Awards to recognize educators, community leaders and presenters who work tirelessly to ensure that young people have access to performing arts experiences. The award is made annually to at least one individual who exemplifies the vision that Prologue has supported for over half a century!

Windsor Endowment for the Arts - Elizabeth Havelock Grant

The Elizabeth Havelock Grant in the Arts is awarded to support the professional and creative development of the mid-career artist in any discipline. This grant may be used to:

  • Sustain the artist;
  • Develop a new project;
  • Support an ongoing project;
  • Aid research and study;
  • Promote new forms of art to the general public;
  • and/or Encourage creativity and innovation.

Artists who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply.

Windsor Endowment for the Arts - Emerging Artist Grants

4 grants are presented to support the professional and creative development of emerging artists in the following areas:

  • Community Arts
  • Literary Arts
  • Performing Arts
  • The Lois Smedick Emerging Artist in Visual Arts Grant

Value: $3,000 each

Emerging Artist Grants are awarded to support the professional and creative development of artists at the start of their careers. These grants may be used to:

Canada Council for the Arts - Short-Term Projects - Creating, Knowing and Sharing: The Arts and Cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples

The Short-Term Projects component of Creating, Knowing and Sharing funds First Nations, Inuit and Métis professional and aspiring artists, cultural carriers, arts/cultural professionals, groups, collectives and arts/culture organizations. Grants provide support for any combination of eligible Creating, Knowing and Sharing activities for projects lasting up to 12 months.
