Indigenous Arts

This program supports Ontario-based Indigenous arts professionals and arts professionals of colour, or ad hoc groups/collectives made up of Indigenous arts professionals or arts professionals of colour for professional development and skill-building opportunities that advance applicants’ work and careers. It funds all contemporary and traditional art practices that are supported at OAC. Projects can include: study and training, mentorship, internship and apprenticeship and documentation of art work.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with notification of results released approximately 3 to 4 months after submission date.

This funding supports Alberta schools by subsidizing fees of professional Alberta artists of any artistic discipline that provide interactive arts residency projects for grades K-12.

Creative Kids helps Saskatchewan children participate in art, music, dance, theatre, and a variety of cultural activities.

Arts Graduate Scholarship

The Arts Graduate Scholarship encourages and recognizes Alberta students who have demonstrated outstanding abilities in the arts to pursue graduate studies in Alberta institutions and other institutions outside Alberta. 

Value:

Up to seven scholarships of $15,000 each are available for master level or equivalent level of study in music, drama, dance and literacy/visual arts.

The City of Windsor’s Arts, Culture & Heritage Fund (ACHF) invests in the soul of our City by providing financial assistance to locally-developed arts, culture and heritage projects that provide exciting, surprising and meaningful opportunities to strengthen our creative community.

The mandate of the PEI Arts Grants is to support, assist, encourage and represent the arts community in the province. Funding is available to Prince Edward Island artists through a juried grant application process.

The requirements are different for each  Arts Grant stream. Your application will be reviewed by your peers and funding will be allocated based on the quality of your application. You must complete a separate application for each grant.
