While only a small percentage of the collection can be displayed in their galleries at once, the online collection allows you to access all 15,000+ objects from over 200 regions of the world, 24 hours a day!
Brief Background: Directed by Dr. Kathy Browning, Faculty of Education, Laurentian University, this project interviewed 14 Indigenous, Francophone, and Anglophone artists in Greater Sudbury and Manitoulin Island about their art to support the new Ontario Ministry of Education: The Arts Guidelines, particularly Visual Arts. Artists were interviewed and videotaped in partnership with the Director of the Laurentian University Film Studio Dr. Hoi Cheu.
Designed for educators looking to infuse the arts into their educational practices, The Kennedy Center has developed a robust collection of hundreds of digital learning resources, including lessons, articles, performance guides, how-tos, and more. All resources are available for free.
