Winnipeg Arts Council Professional Development Grant

The Winnipeg Arts Council recognizes that professional development is key for artists in the community to thrive and over the years WAC has supported hundreds of Winnipeg artists and arts administrators for activities that develop their skillsets. Professional mentorships, formal training/courses, and artist residencies have long been eligible for support through the Professional Development grant and the program has helped offset artists’ costs for a wide variety of activities.

Ontario Creates IP Fund

IP Fund

The Intellectual Property Fund (IP Fund) is intended to drive economic growth in Ontario’s screen sectors by investing in activities that support the production and exploitation of innovative, high-quality, consumer-focused content.

The IP Fund consists of two program streams:

The IP Fund - Linear Content stream supports Production and Development phases for feature film and digital series.

The IP Fund - Interactive Content stream supports Pre-Production and Production phases for video games and XR content.

Canada Council for the Arts: Short-Term Projects - Creating, Knowing and Sharing: The Arts and Cultures of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples

The Short-Term Projects component of Creating, Knowing and Sharing funds First Nations, Inuit and Métis professional and aspiring artists, cultural carriers, arts/cultural professionals, groups, collectives and arts/culture organizations. Grants provide support for any combination of eligible Creating, Knowing and Sharing activities for projects lasting up to 12 months.

First-time applicants are strongly encouraged to speak to a Program Officer before applying.
