Open Call for Participatory Creative Music Projects

The Canadian New Music Network is excited to call for Participatory Creative Music Projects to be hosted on the online Participatory Creative Music Hub. Successful applicants will be provided funding for documentation of an existing project.

Indigenous Cultural Heritage Micro-Grant

This funding program supports new activities on a one-time basis that help to revitalize Indigenous cultural heritage.

The Indigenous Cultural Heritage Micro-Grant (ICH MG) supports the performance, preservation or sharing of Indigenous heritage, increasing knowledge sharing with Elders or assisting in the development of cultural heritage skills in Indigenous communities.

The Community Arts Spaces program

The Community Arts Spaces program supports Indigenous arts organizations and arts collectives to develop Indigenous workspaces and workshops in order to share artistic skills and knowledge.

The Community Arts Spaces program supports activities including workshops, training, knowledge sharing, workshop materials and minor building renovations and improvements.

Visual Arts Projects

Purpose 

The program supports organizations, ad hoc groups/collectives and independent curators to present visual arts projects that exhibit, document or disseminate the work of professional Ontario visual artists and connect them with Ontario audiences, as well as programs that provide professional development for artists.

The program also supports independent Ontario-based curators to undertake research projects focused on Ontario artists and practices.

Purpose

The program supports professional theatrical exploration, creation, development, production and presentation, regardless of theatrical tradition, as well as initiatives that benefit the Ontario professional theatre community. There are five categories:

Ontario Arts Presenters Projects

Purpose

The program supports Ontario-based volunteer-led presenters (ad hoc groups, collectives and organizations), municipalities, colleges and universities to present performances, exhibitions, screenings and readings by professional artists, and associated audience engagement activities. The aim of this program is to develop audiences for the arts in Ontario regions outside of Toronto. There are two categories:
