About The Canadian Art Inspiration Student Contest

Open to students from Grade 7 through Grade 12, the Canadian Art Inspiration Student Contest invites submissions of artworks inspired by or responding to leaders in Canadian art  history and major Canadian artworks. Applicants are encouraged to interpret this theme as broadly as they wish, and to  submit works in any media.

Social Artistry Through Co-Creation @ SFU Continuing Studies

This coming March, I invite you to share our 6-week-long course, Social Artistry Through Co-Creation at SFU, to discover and give form to each others' lived experiences, while co-creating our roles as “keepers of the culture.” Sharing our accumulated wisdom through collaborative art will help re-balance our strained social fabric. LFM Winter Sky - Online Music Workshops

A shared music experience is created through a collection of online instructional workshops for singers and instrumentalists. Each of the 10 different workshops includes 6 hours of instruction and have limited enrolment to allow each participant individual attention from the coach.

Discover what installation art is about and its relationships between objects, materials or things and the context (place) that they are in through the artistic practice of Sona Safaei-Sooreh. Become informed about the ins-and-outs of installation art on Thursday, October 28 and November 4 from 6pm to 7:30pm online.
