Creative Facilitation 1 is for those who work with groups of youth or adults, as well as for people who simply want to enhance their own creativity. Whether you are new to facilitation or have years of experience, at this training you will experience the power of the Creative Empowerment facilitation firsthand.

Working with groups is by definition a creative adventure and the arts can be your greatest ally. In this professional development training you will gain a framework for using arts-based practices to strengthen your effectiveness as a facilitator.

In this advanced 6-hour training, you will learn to combine Zoom tools with Creative Facilitation activities to deliver deep, interactive, and connected online learning programs. Whether you are improving on Zoom or feeling confidently experienced, this training is designed to strengthen your skills while using Zoom for maximum facilitation impact.

BUILD YOUR BASIC ZOOM FACILITATION TOOLKIT

This 6-hour workshop will prepare you with basic Zoom tools and activities to create the same lasting impact with your online groups as you do in your in-person programs. Designed especially for people who are newer to using zoom or facilitating online, we will show you how to leverage Zoom to facilitate programs that deliver a deep, interactive, and connected learning experience. You’ll learn tools you can use in any online program, regardless of the content, format, or audience.

Together we will explore how this ancient art form connects us as human beings; how it can be used as a teaching tool; how we use narrative to guide and reshape our lives; and finally, how it is recognized as a powerful research approach. 

Starting in January, OAEA will begin a monthly speaker series featuring artists and educators who will demonstrate best practices and innovative ideas.
