PODIUM 2022 is the national biennial bilingual choral conference and festival co-presented by Choral Canada and Choirs Ontario.

This multi-day celebration brings together participants from across the country and beyond who are passionate about group singing. PODIUM 2022 is our opportunity to gather with friends new and old in Toronto, one of the world’s most multicultural and exciting cities.

QUANTUM SKY Artist Reception

Vancouver Visual Art Foundation is excited to host Quantum Sky, a new solo exhibition from Sky Lilah.

 

Quantum Sky is a space beyond time. An exploration of consciousness and what that means to the artist. This self-study is done using various mindfulness techniques, as then interpreted through visual art. One dominant theme is the use of Chakras, with 21 separate works, three per Chakra, dedicated specifically to interpreting the specific meanings held within.

Creative City Summit 2022

Waterloo's Creative City Summit will be held both in person and online. Registration will open in the spring of 2022.

Connecting with sector colleagues is an essential part of developing culture in Canada. Every year, delegates representing culture work across the country gather to share, learn, and grow. The Creative City Summit offers content that is national in scope and addresses the breadth of issues within the practice of local cultural development for communities of different sizes and geographies.

Presented by WORLD ALLIANCE FOR PEACE, the purpose of the summit is to bring together arts education professionals worldwide to share the latest research, thought, and practice in arts education assessment and evaluation. We invite primary and secondary school arts educators, higher education professionals, arts education researchers and policymakers, national, state and local education officials from across the world to join us online on October 11-15, 2021.
