Annual Indigenous Youth Dance Show

Outside Looking In offers a high school accredited dance program providing the opportunity to Indigenous youth and their communities to engage in long-term intensive education through dance. Should youth fulfill the academic and attendance requirements of the program, youth get the opportunity to join other Indigenous youth from across Canada for two weeks in Toronto, preparing for an ultimate performance on stage to show off their talents and abilities before hundreds at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. This year's event will be hosted by CTV's Ben Mulroney.

The provoking melodies impatiently proceed the next moment of being on stage. Shahriyar Jamshidi composer, singer and well known as a creative Kurdish Kamanche improviser would like to present his new works MOMENTARY music solo for Kamanche (four strings spike-fiddle) at Canadian Music Centre the tiny and friendly music venue in Toronto.

Shahriyar's music is under influences of Kurdish, Persian and Mesopotamian.

Join Murray McLauchlan, Dan Hill, Sylvia Tyson and Paul sun-Hyuang Lee at this extraordinary concert, emceed by Denise Donlon. Ticket price includes hors d'oeuvres and cocktail reception, dessert bar at intermission and a partial tax receipt. Voices that Care gathers Canada's entertainers on one stage in support of the Room 217 Foundation, a social enterprise dedicated to care through music. This year's  proceeds will support Room 217's What a Difference a Day Makes program, which helps bring music to adult day programs across Canada.
