The Coming Out Monologues

For over a decade we have supported LGBTQ2S+ folx to take their stories from the private to the public and then create a performance. We are once again bringing these stories into the light. Join us at the Eighty Eight Brewing Co. from 7-9 PMish on December 12th. We will be showcasing the funny, poignant and personal stories of 6 folx who are trying to make their way in the world as queer. Admission is free and everyone gets a $5 bar tab to enjoy whatever refreshments they like.

Radiant Dawn: A Festival of Carols

The Elora Singers’ annual Christmas concert will be presented in both online and live performances, featuring repertoire from the Singers’ new Christmas CD. Bach and Handel: Music for Advent and Christmas

The Elora Singers present Bach’s Advent Cantatas and the Christmas excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, with chamber orchestra and soloists from the ranks of the choir. This concert is available to view online until January 7 at midnight.

The Elora Singers: On Love

The Elora Singers present the world premiere of “On Love”, a commissioned work by Canadian composer Timothy Corlis set to the poem by Kahlil Gibran and sung in English and Arabic. Also on the program will be settings on the theme of love by Duruflé, Clausen, Willan, Pärt, Finzi, Enns, Sheppard and Shaw. This concert is available to watch until Friday, January 7 at midnight.

Victoria Guitar Society presents acclaimed classical guitarist Drew Henderson

The Victoria Guitar Society is proud to present Drew Henderson in collaboration with the Victoria Conservatory of Music's Summer Intensive Program - Guitar. Drew will adjudicate a Masterclass at the beginning of the week and present a Recital to close the week of classical guitar studies.
