The Yukon Arts Advisory Council reviews applications and makes funding recommendations to the Minister of Tourism and Culture for approval. We notify applicants of the results within 8 weeks of the application deadline.
Funding availability and eligible expenses
Applicants may receive up to $10,000 towards eligible expenses. This includes:
- Travel, accommodation and per diems;
- fees for other artists (but not the applicant);
- insurance;
- visas and permits;
- cargo and crating;
- equipment rental;
- tour promotion and marketing; and
- expenses related to preparing for the tour. This can include things like framing, video transfers, music copying and rehearsing.
Application deadlines
The deadline to apply is 4:30 pm on:
- March 15
- June 15
- September 15
- December 15
Applications must be postmarked on or before the day of the deadline. If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, it moves to the next business day.
