Gulf & Fraser Foundation
At Gulf & Fraser, we want to make a lasting positive difference in the community. Our foundation was formed to do just that, empowering local organizations with the funding to create an even greater community impact.
There are so many incredible community causes out there. To maximize the support we can offer, Gulf & Fraser focuses on three key areas:
- Community health
- Programs, schools, or groups that contribute to the well-being of our communities.
- Social care
- Programs or groups that support mental and physical health, diversity, equity and inclusion, and financial literacy.
- Environmental impact
- Programs or groups that support the education, wellness, sustainability, health, and vitality of our environment.
Our application period is open annually from November 1 - March 31. To apply, simply send us your online application between these dates. Distribution of funds takes place between June - July.
In addition to helping Gulf & Fraser members with scholarships, Gulf & Fraser is also proud to help BC students achieve their goals through the Credit Unions of BC Bursary Program for undergraduate students at a public Canadian post-secondary school.
The application period for a Credit Unions of BC bursary is open three times a year:
Winter: Jan 1 – Feb 15
Spring: May 1 – June 15
Fall: Sept 1 – Oct 15
