ArtsNL - Professional Artists Travel Fund (PATF)

ArtsNL is a non-profit Crown agency created in 1980 by The Arts Council Act. Its mission is to foster and promote the creation and enjoyment of the arts for the benefit of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.

ArtsNL receives an annual grant from the Province to support a variety of granting programs, program delivery, office administration, and communications. It also seeks support from the public and private sectors. It supports the following artistic disciplines: dance, film, multidisciplinary, music, theatre, visual art, and writing.

What is the Express Micro-grant?

You can apply to this program if you:

  • work in a creative or cultural industry; and
  • are looking for a small amount of funding to help you complete a project.

You can apply for an amount between $100 and $5,000.

We'll prioritize applications from:

  • people who have not received funding before; and
  • traditionally underrepresented communities.

Yukon Government Arts Funding - Creative and Cultural Career Advancement Fund

Apply for funding to advance your career in arts or culture

In 2026–27, the Creative and Cultural Career Advancement Fund (CCCAF) will have an allocation of $100,000 and 2 recipients will receive the award. 

The Creative and Cultural Career Advancement Fund supports people who work in the creative and cultural sectors. The fund supports the development of an individual's creative or cultural career for up to 1 year.

Successful applicants will receive a fixed amount of $50,000.

Nova Scotia Talent Trust

The Nova Scotia Talent Trust believes in the creativity of Nova Scotians.

The Talent Trust is a registered charity that provides scholarships to Nova Scotians who demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to become established artists in their chosen fields.

Our annual scholarships include theatre, film/new media, literary arts, dance, music, voice, circus arts, visual arts, and design.
